Dan Hagerty Director, Individual Campaigns

Dan Hagerty is the Director of Individual Campaigns for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Leading a staff of over 20, he is responsible for more than $25 million in annual contributed revenue from Kennedy Center members, national and international volunteers, major donors, testamentary givers, and a Presidentially-appointed Board of Trustees.

Mr. Hagerty came to the Center in September 2001 to participate in the first class of Fellows at the Kennedy Center Arts Management Institute. During that time, he worked as the Company Manager for the Sondheim Celebration, a festival of six new musical theater productions presented in repertory.

Before coming to the Kennedy Center, Mr. Hagerty was a television producer for WETA-TV, the Washington DC PBS affiliate, producing the weekly arts roundtable series, Around Town. He also served as Associate Producer for WETA's national concerts and documentaries, including In Performance at the White House, The Kennedy Center Presents, and John Singer Sargent: Outside the Frame. Mr. Hagerty is a graduate magna cum laude of Boston University's College of Communication. He was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Florida's Tampa Bay area.
